Yoga/ Power Yoga
Yoga is about creating balance in the body through developing both strength and flexibility. This is done though the performance of poses or postures, each of which has specific physical benefits. This low intensity, calorie-burning, total body sculpting system is for beginners, intermediates, or advanced participants.
Restorative Yoga is a slow-paced gentle yoga workout that provides a good introduction to the basic yoga poses by creating balance in the body through developing both strength and flexibility.
Vinyasa Yoga- You will learn the basics of sun salutations, foundation yoga postures and the importance of connecting with the breath. Although this class is geared towards beginners with little or no prior yoga experience, those with some experience can benefit from revisiting the basic principles of Yoga. Each week your skills will build in a methodical way bringing you to a new awareness and energy, which leads to strength and skill.
Power Yoga is designed to challenge, stretch, strengthen, enlighten, and energize your body and mind. Through a combination of fluid flow asanas (poses), focus on breath, and meditation. The intensity and difficulty of the class is moderate-advanced; however, any beginner yogi looking to get their sweat on is welcomed with open arms! Please bring water and a towel to every class!
